But when is the best time to experience this idyllic location? Let’s dive into the prime months for your Cancun itinerary. December through April typically boasts the best weather with warm temperatures and minimal rain. If you're a fan of beach lounging and water activities, this is the perfect time to soak up the sun.

Activities to Include in Your Cancun Itinerary

  • Explore Cancun:

  • Visit local beaches, like Playa Marlin, and enjoy seaside dinners at restaurants like La Habichuela or The Surfin Burrito.

  • Experience Cancun’s nightlife at Coco Bongo or The City.

  • Visit Mercado 28 for local handicrafts and souvenirs.

  • Relax at Playa Delfines or Playa Marlin.

  • ATV and Ziplining tour

  • Isla Mujeres:

    • Take the ferry from Cancun to Isla Mujeres (15-20 minutes).

    • Relax at Playa Norte, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

    • Rent a golf cart or bike to explore the island and visit Punta Sur for stunning views and Mayan ruins.

    • Snorkel or zip-line at Garrafon Natural Reef Park.
